The Pehtrah Development Foundation seeks to empower African children in reaching their full potential and in achieving their dreams.

We have a strong vision for the future of the continent firmly rooted in our belief that each child holds a key to its economic and social transformation. To this end, we are committed to supporting the African child in a bid to realize this future. Taking cognizance of the adverse effects of corruption, war, disease and poverty on children in Africa; our multi-sector initiatives and programs aim to ensure that each child has a fair shot at reaching their full potential, regardless of their circumstance.

OPL Academy
A ‘Wealth Fund’ will be set up as an endowment for the organization in bid to broaden support for its programs.



Dedicated asset managers will be appointed to manage the Fund.



All subsisting assets i.e. equities, money market & real estate assets of the organization will be housed within this Fund.



The organization has micro-funds set up where it manages and supports the operations of its social businesses.
In 2004, a single policy reformed the pensions industry in Nigeria, turning a rather trouble-some industry into a behemoth of capital to be mobilized for capital infrastructure in the country.



In Pehtrah, we believe quite a number of industries that can bring about growth and development on the African continent, is possible with the right set of policies grounded in research.



As a result, we would be setting up a robust think tank/institute to identify areas for development, and set up the right mechanism to produce the necessary solution and if needed the process of conversion to policies for maximum impact.



Another part of this structure is the advocacy leg that will accompany the developed policies so what is produced can become reality.



Amongst other things, we are building a coalition for the advocacy of land rights for the people of Nigeria.
